Myers Briggs
The MBTI instrument is the best known and most trusted personality assessment on the market.
The MBTI profile reveals how we see and interact with the world, giving insight into our motivation and the motivation of others. This provides a strong foundation for personal growth and development, underpinning enhanced personal effectiveness.
The MBTI was constructed by Katharine Cook Briggs and her daughter Isabel Briggs Myers and is based on the conceptual theory proposed by Carl Jung, who had speculated that humans experience the world, using four principal psychological functions – sensation, intuition, feeling, and thinking – and that one of these four functions is dominant for a person most of the time.
The wonderful purpose of identifying your MBTI preference is for you to understand more about yourself and recognise why things that seem very logical and make sense to you don’t make sense to the next person.
MBTI-Based Team Coaching
Using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the team members go through a number of exercises together to look at both the Individual Types in the team and also the Team Type. This allows the team to identify its strengths and the potential areas for development, and create an Action Plan. Increasing their communication, decision making and thereby creating a hi-performing team.
Resulting in collaborative teams working to their preferences, that are motivated, productive and engage in creative thinking with better decision making processes.
EQi
EQ-i 2.0 Emotional Intelligence Assessment
Emotional intelligence is defined as:
“a set of emotional and social skills that influence the way we perceive and express ourselves, develop and maintain social relationships, cope with challenges, and use emotional information in an effective and meaningful way”
The EQ-i 2.0 is the leading emotional intelligence assessment used in recruitment, coaching and leadership development.
The EQ-i 2.0 provides an in-depth understanding of an individual’s emotional functioning in five broad areas:
- Self-perception
- Self-expression
- Interpersonal
- Decision Making
- Stress Management
Emotional Intelligence is not a static factor — to the contrary, one’s emotional intelligence can change over time and can be developed in targeted areas
The EQ-i 2.0 is used within organisations:
- To recruit highly emotionally intelligent individuals
- To identify talent with the potential for promotion and to support their growth
- To develop managers in people skills to support their technical competencies
- To improve team performance
- To support leadership development programmes with one-to-one coaching.
What is the EQ 360?
Like the EQ-i 2.0 ®, the EQ 360 measures the same fifteen EQ competencies. It’s a self-report assessment combined with the perceptions of people around you, resulting in a more complete 360-degree profile.
